- Priority access to GeoMedia Research Grant ProgramHow to sign-up as a Registered Research Laboratory: Intergraph requires an overview of your research activities as well as 1 research paper detailing either applied research using GeoMedia or theoretical research. To maintain this status Intergraph requires the submission of 2 papers per year. At least one of the two papers should detail applied research with Intergraph technology.
GeoMedia Education Grant
The GeoMedia Education Grant program recognizes the innovative use of GIS in the classroom. In order to apply, a course outline and an initial lesson plan should be submitted, and if approved a GeoMedia Technology Campus Site License will be awarded. A further lesson plan of equal quality is then required 6 months after the grant has been awarded. The lesson plans will be loaded to the Intergraph website and credited to your institution.GeoMedia Research Grant:
The GeoMedia Research Grant focuses on innovative applied research. In order to apply for the grant Intergraph requires a copy of a CV, along with an outline of their research proposal. The proposal should be for applied research using GeoMedia technology. The grants will be awarded to institutions on a quarterly basis; therefore there is no application deadline other than the end of each quarter. The research should be completed and a paper provided within 1 year from receipt of the grant.The grants are US $5000 to contribute to the funding of the research and also US $50,000 worth of software. (University selects from product menu.)
