This committee will play a key role in advising the Office of Instructional Technology and ITS on all aspects of instructional technology.

Academic IT Committee Authorities
- Increase faculty, staff, and student satisfaction and use of technology within academic areas.
- Recommend priorities for instructional technology initiatives and strategic plans.
- Charter task forces as necessary, including discipline-specific and cross-disciplinary groups as needed.
- Provide input on academic issues for the Administrative Systems Steering Committee when appropriate.
Committee Boundaries
Working closely with MnSCU Academic and Student Affairs division, the steering committee advises the Office of Instructional Technology and ITS on all aspects of instructional technology related to campus, regional, and system-wide uses. The steering committee will actively seek input from faculty, staff, and students and will draw upon data from existing instructional technology projects to inform decisions and recommendations.
