In 2015 MnSCU addressed the challenge of modernizing and unifying disparate email, calendaring and document storage systems. After significant consideration, a Microsoft Office 365 Cloud solution was selected and approved. The system office piloted migrating to Office 365, and in September 2015 staff began connecting to a unified, single tenant, Cloud-based Office 365 environment.
System office and campus IT staff will be collaborating in a "shared service" model to manage Office 365 and the Exchange Active Directory platform and provide user support.

IT ConnectThe ITS Division is posting news and information on IT Connect. IT Connect is a private SharePoint site (intranet) with resources for staff and faculty. StarID username and password are required to access the site.
Please visit IT Connect for information including Service Desk alerts, application updates, system office team introductions and contact information, and IT project updates. Use your browser to bookmark/favorite the site and visit regularly. Content is searchable, and includes announcements sent to listserv's. No need to search through email for that webinar/training link or new application functionality--head to IT Connect and search there!
