The Minnesota State Colleges and Universities is pleased to announce that we will again host the annual IT conference. The conference will be held April 23-25, 2012 at Cragun's Resort, Brainerd, Minnesota. We will communicate conference details and registration information by March 1st, 2012. We look forward to your participation at our conference in 2012! COLLABORATION FOR SUCCESS: IMAGINE IT!Each year, the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities IT conference brings together campus IT staff from across the System to share best practices and discuss ways to leverage IT resources, along with other scarce campus resources, to deliver high quality educational services to students, faculty, staff, communities and businesses. Today's environment requires a different level of creative and imaginative thinking to meet the needs of 21st century students, businesses and communities. This new way of doing business requires a collaborative approach to understanding our system challenges, opportunities, and strategic direction. We need to deliver educational programs and student services online 24/7 without compromising the quality, privacy and security of information for our students, faculty and staff. We need to think outside the box to generate new ideas of implementing the infrastructure that will meet the threshold of scalability, reliability, availability, performance and security management to address these new challenges.
