OOC Staff Wireless

OOC Staff Wireless is a full service, secure wireless network available to Office of the Chancellor employees using an Office of the Chancellor-managed laptop.  You will have access to all your LAN resources including email, printers, internet, intranet sites, and shared folders.

All you need is a valid Office of the Chancellor Novell login and an OOC-managed laptop, and you can access the Internet and the OOC Staff Wireless network from almost anywhere at Wells Fargo Place and MCTC locations for the Office of the Chancellor.

• How do I request access to OOC Staff Wireless?
  If you are an Office of the Chancellor employee using an Office of the Chancellor-managed laptop, you already have access to OOC Staff Wireless. See 'How do I connect to OOC Staff Wireless Service' in next bullet for information about how to connect.
  
• How do I connect to OOC Staff Wireless Service?
  If you are an Office of the Chancellor employee using an Office of the Chancellor-managed laptop you probably already have OOC Staff Wireless on your laptop; follow the instructions below to connect. You cannot use a personal laptop with OOC Wireless Service.

• Can I print using OOC Staff Wireless?
  You can print using a OOC Staff Wireless connection. Office of the Chancellor's printing system is used across the Systems Office labs and also works with wireless.

• Wireless coverage and facilities information
  Almost every corner of the Office of the Chancellor location including the OOC Tower, 2nd Floor Atrium and 3rd Floor Atrium is covered by the wireless network. Our MCTC OOC location is
  also covered by the wireless network.

• Visiting employees 
  The Office of the Chancellor provides wireless internet access to visiting employees at the Wells Fargo Place and MCTC locations through the OOC StarLAN wireless network. Please see Office of the Chancellor StarLAN Wireless Service for more information.

• Guest and visitor wireless information
  The Office of the Chancellor does not provide wireless access for non-employee guests and visitors at this time. If you need access to the internet while visiting, wired internet access connections are available in each conference room.
