Duplicate Resolution
PROJECT IS COMPLETE.
Prospective students and enrolled students often have demographic and personal data entered via different processes into the ISRS system. Over time, as updated or additional information is provided and student records are updated, duplicate records can get created for an individual student. Having more than one record for a student makes it very difficult for campus staff to support students. It can also result in misdirected or inappropriate communication to students and has the potential for more serious consequences, such as inaccurate financial aid calculation or transcripts.
The goal of this project is to indentify and reduce the number of duplicated student records in each college & university data base.
