Reporting Enhancements for Campuses
Every management decision is driven by the need for data. There is a very large backlog of “unmet” data and reporting needs by the people who provide that information to design makers. Campus and OOC reporting personnel need ITS support to make the extraction of data from the ISRS database much easier, more timely, and more accurate to allow better strategic decisions to be made by leadership.
Reporting is a cross-functional enterprise involving personnel from every channel including Institutional Research, Admissions, Registrar’s Offices, Academic Affairs, Student Advising/Counseling, Continuing Education/Customized Training, Financial Aid, Housing, Perkins/TRIO, ITS, Distance Ed/On-line Instruction, the Business Office, College/Division Staff, OOC staff, etc. There will be campus-wide and system-wide benefits to improving the data extraction process. Compliance with emerging and existing legal requirements for reporting will be supported by this project. Timely, accurate information will facilitate program decisions that provide programs integral to communities and will increase opportunities for students.
